Ginebra San Miguel Inc. (GSMI) bagged the Best TV Ad-Branded award for the “Lamang ang May Tapang sa One Ginebra Nation” campaign in the recently concluded 46th Catholic Mass Media Awards (CMMA). This is the third consecutive year that GSMI received a distinctive rock trophy from the Archdiocese of Manila under the Best TV Ad-Branded category.

“We are truly honored to have received once again this prestigious award. This CMMA recognition coincides with the 190-year celebration of our flagship brand, Ginebra San Miguel, making it even more special,” said GSMI Marketing Manager Ron Molina.

“Lamang ang May Tapang” highlights the inspiring journeys of Filipinos who overcame adversities and gave themselves a brighter future with their never-say-die spirit. Unlike GSMI’s previous campaigns that focused on surviving the pandemic, the award-winning campaign introduced a new kind of courage—the courage to rise. The campaign served as an inspiration for Filipinos to use that newfound courage to achieve greater things and thrive in the post-pandemic era.

For the past five years, Ginebra San Miguel has been receiving CMMA rock trophies for its outstanding campaigns in various categories such as Best TV Ad-Branded and Best Digital Ad-Branded for campaigns “Tapang na Tunay,” “Bagong Tapang,” “Hanggang sa Huling Patak ng Bagong Tapang,” and “Iba ang Ngiti sa One Ginebra Nation.”

“For years, we have always strived to inspire courage and hope through our campaigns. Driven by malasakit, we remain committed to creating campaigns like this that uplift the Filipino spirit and inspire positive change,” Mr. Molina added.

Organized by the Archdiocese of Manila, the CMMA is presented to individuals and institutions for their outstanding dedication in promoting Filipino-Christian values in radio, print, advertising, television, and film.
