7 April 2025, Makati City, Philippines – Umpisa Inc., a Philippine-based technology solutions provider, has entered a strategic partnership with Testsigma, a San Francisco-headquartered GenAI-powered test automation platform. The collaboration aims to modernize software testing for Philippine businesses and support digital transformation across the Southeast Asia region.

Under the agreement, Umpisa will integrate Testsigma’s low-code, AI-driven platform, which enables software teams to create automated tests using plain English. This approach reduces the need for coding and cuts automation costs by up to 70% with codeless test creation and AI-powered maintenance. By streamlining testing processes, the partnership seeks to help businesses improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in their software development efforts.

“At Umpisa, we believe that innovation should not just keep up with the pace of change—it should drive it. Our partnership with Testsigma is a testament to that belief,” said Pamela Belen, CEO of Umpisa, Inc. With the growing complexity of modern applications, software teams need testing solutions that are not only fast and reliable but also intelligent and adaptable. Testsigma’s AI-powered automation capabilities provide an intelligent solution that aligns with our goal of helping businesses scale and innovate with confidence.”

Testsigma is used by global companies including Cisco, Samsung, Bosch, Oscar Health, and Nagra and is backed by investors including MassMutual, Accel, Strive, and Bold Cap. The platform’s cloud-based infrastructure supports testing across web, mobile, and API and Salesforce applications, offering teams the flexibility to run tests at any time and integrate seamlessly with DevOps workflows. The partnership is expected to address challenges faced by businesses in maintaining speed and accuracy during rapid release cycles.

“This collaboration is about enabling software teams to focus on delivering quality without being held back by traditional testing processes,” Belen added.

Rukmangada Kandyala, CEO of Testsigma, noted that the partnership marks a significant step in the company’s international expansion and in its cross-border initiative to help businesses embrace digital transformation. “The Philippines is a dynamic technology market. Umpisa’s strong local presence and technical expertise make them an ideal partner to bring our GenAI-powered codeless test automation solutions to the region. We’re excited to support businesses in achieving faster, simplified, and more efficient testing processes.”
Umpisa, in collaboration with Testsigma, hosted a free webinar on April 3, 2025, to further promote awareness of AI-powered test automation and its crucial role in enhancing software quality.
