District hospitals of Nagcarlan and Majayjay, Laguna awarded with new ambulances

SANTA CRUZ, Laguna – The Nagcarlan and Majayjay district hospitals (NDH, MDH) were each awarded with a new ambulance in a simple turnover ceremony led by DILG-Laguna Provincial Director Jay-Ar T. Beltran, held at the provincial capitol on 19 May 2025.

Said vehicles are from the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) Incentive Fund worth P4 million pesos, earned by the Province of Laguna upon bagging the 2024 SGLG national award of excellence granted by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) on 10 December 2024 at the Manila Hotel.

Joining PD Beltran were Provincial Administrator Atty. Dulce H. Rebanal, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Rene P. Bagamasbad; Chief of Hospital Dr. Herma  Formeloza and Dr. Ma. Teresa Lapitan of NDH and MDH, respectively, as well as their staff.
