As the inaugural International Series Philippines presented by BingoPlus set to happen on October 23-26, media representatives were invited at the Sta. Elena Golf and Country Club for the Media Golf Day on September 24, 2025.
Ahead of the 4-day tournament, the Media Golf Day was able to introduce the series of events that will be happening throughout the week, such as the opening gala and the Pro-Am tournament, where professional athletes and amateurs get to compete with each other, as well as the music festival celebrating the end of the week long event. The tournament is said to bring in some of the biggest names in the world of golf, champions and legends of the sport coming together to become part of the most prized pathway in golf.
Our media partners were able to go on the green to get a glimpse of what’s to come, they were able to hear from Mr. Rahul Singh, Head of the International Series he shared his insights and thoughts on the growth of the elite tournament series, stating that…“This is the first time the International Series will be hosted in the Philippines and we hope to provide entertainment and excitement with the idea to show the Philippines that golf can be more and that it is an opportunity to come out and enjoy the outdoors to be with your family or bring out your inner sportsperson, as well as hopefully inspire the next generation of players.”

Joining Mr. Singh during the Q&A is Mr. Miguel Tabuena, 3-time Asian Tour winner and Filipino golf player who commended his co-pro players for joining and coming to play in one of the best golf courses on his home soil. With the tournament commencing in October, one of the star players of the Asian Tour was also present and is said to be part of the long season, competing in the seven out of ten events on this season’s calendar, forging his way to the big leagues in the LIV Golf League.
