The Ateneo University Press prepares for HARVEST, its biggest celebration of the year

Share

It’s the most wonderful time of the year for the Ateneo de Manila University Press. It’s Harvest season! Harvest is our annual book launch and our biggest celebration of the year.

What a year it has been for the Press! We’ve published 20 titles that span a diverse range of genres—from scholarly to literary and non-literary. It’s with immense joy and gratitude that we spotlight the authors whose expertise and passion for their craft lead to the flourishing of Philippine literature. The Press has also made great strides in strengthening its place in the local and global publishing worlds through successful translation projects. Harvest is a wonderful opportunity to further foster that sense of community, as well as our mutual love for books. The recognition of these accomplishments will make for a truly memorable event indeed.

Along with the presentation of the Press’s 2025 titles, an exciting program awaits! Free-flowing taho and sorbetes will be served throughout the evening, along with a merienda cena at the end of the program. Award-winning poets and first-time Ateneo Press authors Alfonso Manalastas and Paolo Tiausas will treat us to a special performance of their poetry. Guests will have the opportunity to meet the authors and have their books signed. Guests can also avail of the free photobooth and live portraits by artist Albert Raqueño to commemorate their Harvest 2025 experience.

All 2025 titles will be available for purchase at a 15% discount. We are also pleased to share that all proceeds from our Harvest book sale will be donated to the Tanging Yaman Foundation to support their relief and rehabilitation initiatives for those affected by Typhoon Tino.

Join the Ateneo University Press as it celebrates its Harvest of new books this December 9, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the Ubuntu Space in the Areté, Ateneo de Manila. Doors open as early as 3:00 pm. The event is open to the public.
