Manila, Philippines, November 27, 2025 – Federal Express Corporation (FedEx), one of the world’s largest express transportation companies, provided critical relief supplies to support 200 families affected by the recent calamities that struck San Remigio and surrounding areas in Cebu.

The 6.9-magnitude earthquake, one of the strongest recorded in Cebu, displaced over 200,000 families and caused damages worth almost PHP13 billion (over USD 257 million) to property and infrastructure[1].

FedEx worked with local non-profit organizations, the Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation (PDRF) and the Junior Chamber International Zugbuana, to deliver essential items including bottled water, food, sleeping mats, mosquito nets, and blankets to affected families in San Remigio.

FedEx has a longstanding commitment to disaster relief, leveraging its global network and resources to provide support where it is most needed.
