Jollibee is turning its Kids Meals into collectible items with the launch of the Pokémon Evolution Surprise, a limited time toy promotion featuring Pokémon.

Animation International Philippines Benedict Odina, Yukie Funakubo of The Pokémon Company, TPC Asia business development Zoe Serrano, Jollibee team, led by vp of marketing Dorothy Dee-Ching, brand manager for noodles & kids, Abby Joaquin, assistant brand manager for noodles & kids Kristine Barbosa, avp head of trade marketing group Elo Siccion, and avp head of masterbrand, chicken, noodles, and kids Luis Berba pose together during the Jollibee Kids Meal Pokémon Evolution Surprise launch.

From February 1 to March 31, every Jollibee Kids Meal will include one Pokémon toy hidden inside a surprise box. Customers can collect 10 different figures, featuring well-known Pokémon and their evolved forms such as Pichu and Pikachu, Psyduck and Golduck, Munchlax and Snorlax, Vulpix and Ninetales, and Riolu and Lucario.

The new Jollibee Kids Meal Pokémon Evolution Surprise contains 10 Pokémon, five in their single-stage form, and five in their evolved forms.

The Philippines’ no. 1 fastfood chain said the promotion is meant to make family dining more engaging by adding an element of surprise and play to the Kids Meal experience.

“Pokémon is one of the most loved franchises in the world, enjoyed by both children and adults,” said Dorothy Ching, vice president for marketing of Jollibee Philippines. “With the Pokémon Evolution Surprise, we’re bringing that excitement to families in a fun, unexpected way. Kids will love discovering which Pokémon they get, and adults can relive a bit of their childhood, making every meal a little adventure.”

The toy collection was introduced during a Pokémon themed event held at Jollibee’s 1,000th store. Fans and families who attended took part in games and activities.

Each Pokémon figure comes with a Poké Ball or Great Ball attached with a clip, allowing fans and children to attach the toys to bags or display them at home.

The Pokémon Evolution Surprise is available nationwide with every Kids Meal until March 31. Start your collection today.
