Multi-platinum recording artist Bebe Rexha unveils “New Religion”

Multi-platinum recording artist, songwriter, and global hitmaker Bebe Rexha unveils “New Religion”, a high-voltage dance anthem inspired by the timeless club classic “Insomnia” from legendary electronic group Faithless.

Reimagined for a new era, the track channels the spirit of the original while transforming it into this generation’s defining summer soundtrack, and the focus track from Bebe’s upcoming album, ‘DIRTY BLONDE’.

Built around the unmistakable DNA of “Insomnia”“New Religion” weaves the original’s hypnotic bassline into Rexha’s commanding vocal performance, transforming a 1995 dance landmark into a sleek, modern club record. The track honors the legacy of the original while reintroducing its pulse to a new era.

“”New Religion” is really my salvation on the dance floor. It’s about letting go and getting lost in the music. I was in a dark place when I wrote it, and I realized music had always been the one thing that never left me — it’s always had my back, even in a tough industry and a heavy world. I wanted to write a love letter to music itself. When the bass hits, you feel it in your chest and suddenly you feel alive again. That’s what this song is about for me — feeling safe in the music and remembering that spark. I hope when people hear it, it makes them want to get up and dance, but more than that, I hope it makes them feel alive,” said Rexha.

The release marks another bold chapter for Rexha, who continues to blur genre lines across pop, dance, and electronic music through boundary-pushing records and chart-topping global hits.
