Via GRAPHIC PLUS — Hotel Sogo, through its corporate social responsibility arm Sogo Cares, recently marked the second year of its initiative “Unbreakable Love, Unstoppable Warriors,” a community-focused gathering dedicated to children living with cerebral palsy and their families.

The activity was held in partnership with Cerebral Palsy Super Warriors Philippines Inc., a support-driven organization that advocates for children with cerebral palsy. The group provides a platform for families to connect, share experiences, and access guidance and support, helping build a stronger and more informed community.

This year’s gathering brought together over 30 children, along with their families, for a day of simple yet purposeful activities. The program was designed to be inclusive and relaxed, allowing both children and caregivers to participate comfortably and enjoy the experience at their own pace.

More than the activities themselves, the event created a space where families could interact with others who understand their journey. It gave children the opportunity to engage freely, while parents and caregivers were able to connect and share moments of support with one another.

The success of the initiative was made possible through the support of various partners. Mogu Mogu Philippines provided refreshments for the attendees, adding to the overall experience. Pushpin Incorporated, led by Ms. Jane Cruz, and Kiwanis of Quezon City, led by Ms. Mariana Vicente, contributed gifts and raffle items, which brought excitement and enjoyment to the children.

Media partners also played an important role in supporting and documenting the event. Representatives from Saksi Ngayon, Village Connect, Simpol.ph, Dyaryo Pinoy, Laso Experience Magazine, The Manila Times, Manila Standard, Malaya Business Insight, and others were present. In addition to coverage, several media groups also extended support by providing gifts and raffle items for the participants.

According to Ms. Sue Geminiano, Marketing Head of Hotel Sogo, “Through Sogo Cares, we aim to create initiatives that go beyond our core business. This program allows us to connect with communities and provide a space where these children and their families can feel supported, even in simple ways.” She emphasized that Sogo Cares is guided by a consistent commitment to community engagement.

“We understand that even small efforts can have a meaningful impact,” she added. “Through Sogo Cares, we want to create experiences where families feel acknowledged and included. It’s our way of extending our role beyond service and into community support.” She also shared that initiatives like “Unbreakable Love, Unstoppable Warriors” are intended to be sustained and developed over time. “We want this to grow into a continuing effort where families know they are part of a community that supports them.”

Through Sogo Cares, Hotel Sogo continues to implement programs that focus on community involvement and social responsibility. Initiatives like “Unbreakable Love, Unstoppable Warriors” reflect the company’s ongoing efforts to contribute to inclusive and meaningful activities that bring value to the communities it serves.

As Hotel Sogo continues to expand nationwide, it also invites the public to visit its branches and support a brand that actively participates in community-driven initiatives. Each visit helps sustain programs that aim to create a positive and lasting impact beyond hospitality.
