via GRAPHIC PLUS — Members of various Tricycle Operators and Drivers Associations (TODA) received gasoline subsidies from the City Government on April 7, 2026, led by Mayor Atty. Arth Jhun Aguilar Marasigan, together with Vice Mayor Catherine Jaurigue-Perez and members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod.
This is part of the local government’s ongoing effort to support the transportation sector amid the rising prices of petroleum products. The program aims to help ease the expenses of drivers and keep fares affordable for passengers.

The beneficiaries received a ₱1,000 subsidy each as additional assistance for their daily trips and livelihood.
The distribution was orderly and successful through the assistance of various city offices, including the City Tricycle Franchising and Regulatory Board, Sangguniang Panlungsod, City Treasurer’s Office, and other partner offices.
This program demonstrates the City Government of Sto. Tomas’s continuous concern for the welfare of Tomasinos, especially for sectors directly affected by economic changes. Ways to further expand the assistance for Tomasinos are also being sought.
