VIA EMBASSY EXPRESS — On 18 May 2026, Ambassador ENDO Kazuya paid a courtesy call on Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary, Ma. Cristina A. Roque. They exchanged views on the promotion of trade and investment between Japan and the Philippines as well as the bilateral cooperation in the region.
Ambassador Endo and Secretary Roque also discussed President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr.’s upcoming State Visit to Japan, expressing their hopes that the visit would contribute to further strengthening relations between Japan and the Philippines.
