Ka-panda Riders cash in on PHP 62 Million foodpanda incentive boost

Introduced add-on incentivized quests nationwide, complementing its existing incentive program

Via GRAPHIC PLUS | Manila, Philippines — foodpanda Philippines provided over PHP 62 million in support incentives for its Ka-panda delivery partners from March to May 2026 through nationwide add-on incentive quests.

Through the Ka-panda Motorcycle Quest, riders in Metro Manila and provincial areas unlocked extra payouts by completing delivery milestones throughout the day. The quests had no additional requirements aside from completing the target number of orders, allowing more riders to participate while continuing their regular deliveries.

foodpanda shared that the program saw strong engagement, with around 95 percent of active riders participating in and completing the quests.

Ron Sanders, Rider Experience Lead of foodpanda Philippines, explained that alongside the add-on incentives, foodpanda also regularly rolls out weekly quests that allow riders to earn extra rewards by completing a target number of deliveries within a set period while meeting platform requirements such as acceptance rate and attendance.

Sanders said the initiative reflects the company’s continued commitment to supporting its delivery partner community amid changing market conditions.

“Since rolling out these add-on incentive quests in March, we’ve seen how these initiatives can help support our riders’ day-to-day operations while providing more flexible earning opportunities on the platform,” Sanders said.

For Ka-panda delivery partner Hervie Agustin, the incentives helped ease everyday expenses.

“Malaking tulong para sa amin na may dagdag incentives kasi may pandagdag sa pang-gas at pang-araw-araw na gastos. Kahit simpleng extra income lang, malaking bagay na rin iyon para sa pamilya,” Agustin shared.

Beyond the add-on incentive quests, foodpanda also rolled out other rider-focused initiatives on the platform. During its nationwide Double-Tipping campaign last Labor Day, customers generated over PHP 1.2 million in in-app tips for Ka-panda riders, which foodpanda matched peso-for-peso, resulting in a total of ₱2.4 million in rider payouts.

These initiatives form part of foodpanda’s Panda-Malasakit Project, a broader effort that brings together programs designed to support riders, customers, and partners through meaningful earning opportunities and community-driven initiatives across the platform.
