VIA GRAPHIC PLUS | (October 4, 2026) — The inaugural Mr. & Ms. Chinatown Global Philippines (MMCG PH) officially launched at Century Park Hotel Manila, unveiling 26 finalists in a national search that aims to discover the next generation of Chinese-Filipino stars, talents, and cultural ambassadors.
Presented by CHiNOY TV, ABS-CBN Studios, Century Park Hotel Manila, and the Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII), MMCG PH is the official Philippine search for representatives to Mr. & Ms. Chinatown Global Year 3.

More than a traditional pageant, MMCG PH is designed as a talent discovery and development platform for aspiring Chinoys, creating opportunities for Chinese-Filipino talents while celebrating their heritage, identity, and potential as ambassadors of the community.
The search began with nationwide auditions in Manila, Baguio, Cebu, and Davao, attracting more than 2,000 aspirants before narrowing the field to 11 male and 15 female individuals.
At the media launch, Creative Director Janeena Chan highlighted the extensive preparation undertaken by the candidates. Over the past weeks, the 26 finalists underwent an intensive bootcamp designed to strengthen their confidence, versatility, and readiness for both the competition and potential opportunities in the media and entertainment industry.
The media launch gave members of the press an opportunity to meet the 26 candidates through Q&A sessions, allowing them to share their personalities, stories, talents, and aspirations.

The program also featured messages from ABS-CBN Business Unit Head Raymund Dizon, Century Park Hotel Manila Director for Business Development Bella Tan-Luy, and Department of Tourism, Culture and Arts of Manila Head Cristal Bagatsing.
Two special awards were presented by the end of the launch. Ben Siao and Maria Eddiessa Izobel Taguiam were named Mr. and Ms. Century Park Hotel Manila, while Jyron Chrisler Ngo and Bianca Codilla received the Media’s Rising Star Award, as voted by the media guests during the program.
For Chan, the initiative reflects the belief that a competition can become a stepping stone toward bigger opportunities. While only one gentleman and one lady will ultimately represent the Philippines at the global competition, the organization’s commitment extends to all 26 candidates.

Through CHiNOY TV and ABS-CBN Studios, MMCG PH aims to develop opportunities in talent development, digital content, acting, hosting, music, and other entertainment projects, creating a platform where Chinese-Filipino talents can continue to grow long after the competition ends.
