A rewards mobile app and weekly wine-tasting classes together bridge digital convenience with immersive engagement
VIA GRAPHIC PLUS — Araneta City (ACI, Inc.) has cemented its status as a trailblazer in lifestyle and retail innovation after securing two accolades at the Asian Experience Awards 2026 in Singapore on October 1.
The country’s premier lifestyle hub earned Philippines Digital Experience of the Year – Real Estate for the Araneta City Rewards Mobile App, and Philippines Brand Experience of the Year – Food & Beverage for the Wine 101 sessions at World Cellar.
The annual Asian Experience Awards honors the most ingenious initiatives by companies delivering exceptional, standout experiences for customers, clients, and communities. This year, the awards recognize Araneta City’s ongoing commitment to blending technological convenience with world-class physical engagements.
Redefining retail
The Araneta City Mobile App was recognized for creating a unified digital ecosystem across retail, dining, transit, entertainment, hospitality, and residential hubs. It allows customers to enjoy more of what Araneta City has to offer through exclusive rewards, offers, and perks, all conveniently accessible through their smartphones.
The platform connects physical and digital touchpoints to reward users for active participation, event attendance, and regular spending across the complex. It offers personalized experiences, delivering tailored offers to specific visitor profiles, including pet owners and event-goers, whilst providing tenant partners with a data-driven channel for targeted campaigns.
To date, the application has recorded over 82,000 downloads and tracked millions in encoded transaction receipts. By offering strategic intelligence on consumer behavior, the app has significantly driven foot traffic and repeat visits throughout the district.
Demystifying wine culture
In the food and beverage category, the weekly Wine 101 sessions at World Cellar—located inside World Kitchens on Level 4 of Gateway Mall 2—was celebrated for creating the most accessible and engaging wine-tasting classes in north of Metro Manila.

Held every Friday evening, the 90-minute classes demystify wine culture for beginners and enthusiasts alike. Led by an in-house certified sommelier, participants master practical tasting skills, label decoding, and bottle opening techniques while sampling three distinct pours. All wines served are paired with diverse culinary offerings from 15 show kitchens within World Kitchens. By sourcing up to 4,000 bottles directly from global vineyards, the program keeps pricing approachable and breaks down traditional fine-dining barriers.
The weekly initiative has successfully sparked remarkable guest growth, enhanced community engagement, and created vibrant dining synergies across the venue.
