Cabanatuan City – Batch 193 of SM Foundation’s Kabalikat sa Kabuhayan Farmers’ Training Program harvested the fruits of their labor in Barangay Daang Sarile, a barangay situated in the city of Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija.
Through the program, SM Foundation enables 4Ps beneficiaries, farmers, and professionals to become self-sufficient in food. The program equips them with knowledge on the production of safe and healthy crops, organic farming, and the latest technology on vegetable and fruit farming.
Partners of SM Foundation for this batch are: Macondray Philippines, Department of Agriculture, Department of Social Welfare and Development, local government units of Cabanatuan City and SM Group of companies (SM City Cabanatuan, SM Supermarket and Savemore Megacenter).
