Over 23,000 attendees gathered at the Mall of Asia Arena to promote acceptance, appreciation, and accommodation for those on the autism spectrum. The annual event united families, allies, and volunteers demonstrating a powerful commitment to building an Autism-OK Philippines. Simultaneous walks in SM Seaside City Cebu and SM City Davao were also held, with more walks to follow in SM City Iloilo and SM City Lucena.
Leading the walk were SM Prime Chairman of the Executive Committee Hans Sy, SM Supermalls’ President Steven Tan, SM Supermalls’ Assistant Vice President for Marketing Carinna Sy, SM Supermalls’ Senior Vice President for Operations and SM Cares Program Director for Disability Affairs Engr. Bien Mateo, ASP Chair Emerita Dang Koe, ASP President LJ Sumulong, Delegation of the European Union in the Philippines Deputy Ambassador Dr. Ana Isabel Sanchez Ruiz, and Miss Philippines Universe 2023 Michelle Dee with her mother Melanie Marquez.
