SM Mall of Asia (MOA) ushered in the New Year with an unparalleled display of festive grandeur, hosting the highly anticipated Grand Mascot Parade on January 1. Over 200 mascots and performers, witnessed by a captivated crowd of over 130,000, transformed SM MOA into a dynamic playground of entertainment.

The festivities commence with a breathtaking spectacle of giant inflatables lining Seaside Boulevard, setting the stage for the magnificent parade. Beloved mascots like Mimi the Cat, Momo the Dog, Benny the Bunny, and Bailey the Beagle from SM MOA, alongside charming Sola the Panda from SM Southmall, stood tall, creating a whimsical atmosphere perfect for photo opportunities.

The heart of the celebration was undoubtedly the Grand Mascot Parade itself. A lively procession of iconic characters, including beloved animated figures and popular brand mascots like those from Toy Kingdom, marched through the mall, captivating the hearts of young and old. This was no ordinary parade; it was a visual feast of larger-than-life characters, surpassing any other parade hosted by any other mall.

The Grand Finale culminated at Seaside Boulevard with an electrifying showcase of over 200 mascots and performers. The SM MOA Royal Marching Band, joined by guest marching bands, filled the air with music and excitement. The mascots continued to entertain the crowd with their playful antics, ensuring a non-stop flow of fun.

A highlight of the day was the exclusive meet-and-greet session where children and adults alike had the opportunity to interact with their favorite mascots, creating lasting memories.
