Mostro OG Prime Makes a Monstrous Statement
With a name that translates to “monster” in Italian, the Mostro celebrates those who defy conventions and eschew the norm. Known for its sculptural look and unmistakable spiked sole, the Mostro commands every look. In its bold, new yellow colorway, the PUMA Mostro OG Prime is built for those who aren’t afraid to stand out.
Constructed with vegan-certified materials and at least 20% recycled materials, the Mostro OG Prime looks and does good. The elasticated hook-and-loop closure, rounded toe, and textile lining offers a snug fit that molds to your every move. Rubber outsole wraps the upper, and the signature rubber spikes are still present, still turning sidewalks into runways.
The Mostro Legacy Lives On
The launch of the Mostro OG Prime comes after the Mostro Ecstasy’s release last May 10. Reintroducing the Mostro to a new generation of rule breakers, the Mostro Ecstacy paid homage to its dual-heritage by retaining its iconic silhouette inspired by the sprint spikes of the 60s and surf shoes of the 80s.
The Mostro Ecstacy had a more aggressive look for those who dare to be bold, with longer spikes and vibrant colorways in Pink Fruit and Fresh Mint. It featured a breathable mesh base and OrthoLite® insole, which makes it as comfortable as it is unconventional. Similar to the Mostro OG Prime, the Mostro Ecstacy also has an elasticated hook-and-loop closure to offer a snug, comfortable fit.
