The launch of John Aguilar’s newest book, The Art & Science of Peak Performance, brought together readers, wellness advocates, and supporters at Shangri-La Plaza for an afternoon of conversation on health, balance, and longevity.

Manila, Philippines — September 6, 2025 – Guests filled the venue to hear Aguilar share insights from his journey as an entrepreneur, athlete, and producer, as well as lessons from the communities and experts he interviewed while writing the book.

“For me, it’s not about extremes,” Aguilar told the audience. “It’s about balance and showing up every day — for my family, my work, and my future goals.”

A Shared Conversation

The event featured a discussion on the seven pillars covered in the book — sleep, nutrition, training, mindset, recovery, disease prevention, and biohacking — with Aguilar stressing that these principles are practical and adaptable. Audience members engaged through a Q&A, reflecting the broad appeal of the book to people from different walks of life.

Aguilar emphasized that the key to performance lies in accessibility. “Even the smallest changes can make a difference,” he explained. “It starts with choosing better food, getting enough sleep, or simply making time to move.”
