Saludad Township’s First MassKara Celebration Honors the Spirit of Bacolod

For MassKara 2025, PHINMA Properties transformed Saludad into a vibrant space for connection, color, and hometown pride—bringing the essence of Bacolod to life in a fresh and meaningful way.

For many Bacolodnons, MassKara is more than a festival. It’s a celebration of color, creativity, and connection. This year, a new venue joined the scene, offering a refreshing way to experience the city’s most iconic tradition.

On October 18, 2025, PHINMA Properties opened the doors of Saludad Township with Saludad Socials—a curated event that brought families, friends, and future residents together for a day of joyful experiences, rooted in Bacolod’s unique spirit.

Celebrating Community, the Saludad Way

Held inside the Saludad Sales Pavilion, the event welcomed guests to a vibrant mix of family-friendly activities, artisan workshops, and township previews. While the city’s main streets filled with high-energy parades and large crowds, Saludad offered a more relaxed space to gather. The experience highlighted the township’s role as Bacolod’s next lifestyle and cultural hub.

Throughout the day, guests explored local marketplaces, enjoyed a sunset-themed photo studio, and participated in creative sessions like piaya pressing, cocktail mixing, and wine-and-paint workshops. Children roamed the colorful Kids’ Activity Zone filled with puppet crafts, eco-art, and mask making.

A Township for the Future

Saludad is more than just a venue. It is PHINMA Properties’ first masterplanned township in Bacolod, built in partnership with JEPP Real Estate Co. and designed by Royal Pineda+. The development brings together residential spaces, education through Southwestern University PHINMA, and hospitality via TRYP by Wyndham Hotel, all thoughtfully integrated with open spaces and people-centered planning.

During the event, select guests were given access to a private Investor’s Lounge and guided township tours, providing a preview of the future that Saludad promises.

A Taste of What’s to Come

As the sun dipped below the skyline, Saludad came alive with the MassKara Dance Showcase, followed by a live music performance that capped off the day on a high note.

Saludad Socials was more than a celebration. It was a glimpse into a new kind of Bacolod living—joyful, grounded, and made for community.

Because in Saludad, every day can feel a little like MassKara. Connected, colorful, and full of life.
