Origin Island boosts productivity on vivo X300 Series

via Graphic Plus | MANILA, PHILIPPINES – The vivo X300 Series introduces Origin Island, a new system-level feature designed to improve multitasking and reduce the number of steps needed to complete everyday tasks.

Origin Island acts as an intelligent interaction layer that allows users to move, copy, and act on information more efficiently across apps. The feature targets common productivity pain points such as frequent app switching, repetitive actions, and interrupted workflows.

Drag and Go simplifies cross-app sharing

One of Origin Island’s core features is Drag and Go, which allows users to transfer content directly between apps through a long press and drag motion.

Instead of switching interfaces, users can extract content and drag it straight to their target app. This supports real-time syncing of emails, documents, music, and meeting materials, making it easier to manage tasks during work or meetings.

For example, users can select a photo and drag it directly into a chat or social media app. Text from a webpage can also be dragged into Notes for quick saving. The feature reduces repetitive steps and helps maintain focus while working.

Copy and Go turns copied content into actions

Another key feature is Copy and Go, which converts copied information into instant action options.

When users copy content such as phone numbers, URLs, or meeting links, Origin Island automatically detects the data and displays relevant actions. Options such as Call, Message, Add Contact, Add to Calendar, or Open Webpage appear without the need to open another app.

The system integrates with core services including Google Meet, the vivo dialer, and the browser. This allows users to move from copying information to executing tasks in a single step.

For instance, copying a phone number immediately prompts a call option, while copying a meeting link opens it directly in a video conferencing app.

Designed for everyday efficiency

With Drag and Go and Copy and Go, Origin Island focuses on reducing friction in daily smartphone use. By minimizing app switching and manual steps, the vivo X300 Series positions itself as a productivity-focused device for both professional and personal use.

Origin Island reflects vivo’s approach to user-centered design, emphasizing speed, simplicity, and smarter interactions in an increasingly fast-paced digital environment.

Priced starting at Php 67,999, the vivo X300 Series is available in vivo concept stores nationwide and online via vivo e-store, Lazada, and Shopee
