via GRAPHIC PLUS — Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) continues to invest in elevated customer experience with new and upgraded Smart Stores in Pangasinan and East Ortigas, positioning its retail locations as accessible digital hubs for connectivity and service.

The telco has expanded and refreshed its retail footprint in key locations, including SM Urdaneta and SM Dagupan in Pangasinan, as part of its broader effort to bring digital solutions, reliable connectivity, and personalized customer support closer to communities.

Pangasinan remains an important market for Smart, supported by a growing population, expanding commercial activity, and rising demand for mobile and digital services. By upgrading its stores in Urdaneta and Dagupan, Smart aims to improve customer access to connectivity solutions that support everyday communication, digital transactions, and online services.

The enhanced retail presence in the province supports Smart’s broader goal of enabling individuals, families, and businesses through dependable connectivity and practical digital innovation delivered closer to where customers live and work.

Smart has also strengthened its presence along the Ortigas Extension with a Smart Store at SM City East Ortigas, Pasig City, serving customers from Pasig, Cainta, and Rizal.

Designed as a modern digital hub, the East Ortigas Smart Store offers a welcoming and relaxed environment where customers can access a full range of services, including postpaid and prepaid SIM activation, plan subscriptions, device sales, billing and account management, technical support, reloading services, and value added digital offerings.

“These new Smart Stores are more than just retail spaces—they’re hubs for connection, empowerment, and service,” said Eden Techico, Vice President and Head of Retail Operations and Transformation at Smart. “We are proud to bring a more personalized and elevated customer experience where customers can explore digital solutions and access support that meets their evolving needs.”

“These milestones were made even more meaningful by loyal customers who joined the store blessings, including some who have been with Smart for over 20 years and continue to maintain multiple lines. Their continued trust reflects Smart’s commitment to delivering reliable and meaningful customer experiences,” Techico added.

Delivering better service, end to end

For customers, the expanded and upgraded Smart Stores mean more than added convenience. These locations are designed to make support more accessible, whether customers are applying for a new line, upgrading a device, resolving account concerns, or seeking guidance on how to get the most out of digital services. With hands on demos, on site assistance, and a more comfortable store environment, customers can expect faster resolution, clearer guidance, and a more seamless overall experience.

The refreshed retail experience is part of a wider effort by the PLDT Group to raise the bar on customer service—bringing together strong network performance, responsive support, and well designed physical touchpoints.

This customer focused retail push also aligns with the PLDT Group’s ongoing investments in the Smart mobile network. In early 2026, the group continued to prioritize network upgrades and capacity improvements, particularly for LTE and 5G, to support growing data usage and demand for more reliable mobile connectivity.

By strengthening both its service channels and its network, Smart reinforces a simple promise to customers: clearer choices, better support, and connectivity they can rely on.
