PASIG CITY, Philippines (June 2026) — On the eve of Father’s Day, photojournalists and artists Bernard Testa and Riza Zuniga present Fusion Unveiled 2, a special exhibition celebrating fatherhood, family, memory, and the enduring human connections that shape our lives.
The exhibition opens on June 20, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Yani’s Café in Pasig City.
The exhibit follows the successful launch of Fusion Unveiled at the San Beda College Alabang Museum, which opened on May 25 and runs until June 30, 2026.
While the first exhibition introduced audiences to the artists’ shared passion for photography, poetry, and music, Fusion Unveiled 2 offers a more intimate and personal collection of works inspired by reflection, gratitude, and the people who have influenced their journeys both as artists and journalists.
What makes this exhibition particularly meaningful is that the featured works were created amid the demanding schedules of two working media practitioners.
Between covering assignments, meeting publication deadlines, documenting major events, and fulfilling newsroom responsibilities, Testa and Zuniga found precious moments to pursue their artistic endeavors.
As journalists, they are accustomed to capturing reality as it unfolds. As artists, they are afforded the opportunity to interpret those experiences through photographs, poetry, and music. The result is a collection of works that bridge reportage and reflection, documentation and emotion.
Photography freezes moments that can never be recreated.
A fleeting expression, a celebration, an act of devotion, a quiet scene of everyday life—once captured, these become enduring visual records of human experience. Paired with poetry and music, these images gain additional layers of meaning, creating a rich dialogue between sight, sound, memory, and emotion.

The exhibition features visual narratives from various parts of the Philippines, documenting celebrations, traditions, landscapes, and ordinary moments transformed by light, timing, and perspective.
Alongside these photographs are original poems and musical compositions drawn from personal experiences, observations, and emotions.
For Testa and Zuniga, creativity is not separate from journalism but an extension of it. Both disciplines require observation, patience, empathy, and a deep appreciation for the stories of others.
Best friends, travel companions, and fellow members of the Press Photographers of the Philippines (PPP) and the National Press Club of the Philippines (NPC), the two artists have spent years documenting the nation’s stories while nurturing their own creative voices.
