BDO Foundation and Don Bosco: Supporting the financial well-being of Filipino youth

BDO Foundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of BDO Unibank, recently forged a partnership with Don Bosco One TVET Philippines for the development and inclusion of a financial education course in the curriculum of Don Bosco’s technical vocational education and training (TVET) schools all over the Philippines.

The partnership project aims to equip students of Don Bosco’s 18 TVET centers nationwide with the knowledge and skills to make sound financial decisions especially when they join the workforce.

Supportive of Don Bosco’s mission to educate, evangelize and capacitate economically disadvantaged Filipino youth, the initiative contributes to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal no. 8 to promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment, and decent work for all.
