How transportation and logistics solutions enable entrepreneurs get their business off the ground

Ollocal’s founder, Chriz Valdez, has an inspiring mission – “to showcase the incredible talent and craftsmanship of Filipino artisans on the global stage.”

Ollocal sells locally produced products focused on “coconut-based products designed to be a vital part of the customer’s journey towards a healthier lifestyle.”

With her specialty stores found at SM Malls in Cavite and a pop-up store in SM Mall of Asia, Valdez is pursuing her mission hand in hand with local talent and reliable partners.

“We forged our partnership with 2GO a few months ago. Our partnership with them has proven to be crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient transportation of our goods. Their reliable and trustworthy approach to logistics has helped us streamline our supply chain and meet the demands of our customers effectively,” shared Valdez.

2GO recently introduced 2GO Getters, a “community of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), start-up companies and anyone who aspires to build their business empire in need of delivery services.” 2GO, a part of the SM group of companies, is the Philippines’ leading end-to-end logistics, transportation and distribution solutions provider.

The company’s quest to “enable entrepreneurs of all scales and sizes to reach their dreams and aspirations” resonated with Valdez. An officer of Cavite Association of Producers and Entrepreneurs (CAPE), Valdez champions her fellow entrepreneurs and business owners as well.

“When one of our members opened about 2GO Getters, I did not hesitate to say yes. I did not think about myself but our members in the association who are outside Cavite. They wanted to send their products here, but they are looking for reliable logistics. With 2GO’s extensive expertise in logistics and supply chain management, we are confident that this collaboration will bring countless opportunities and benefits to our micro-entrepreneurs,” Valdez said.

This echoes the SM Group’s vision of lending a hand to MSMEs. “We understand the role we play in helping enable small businesses to flourish and grow. The synergy among the companies under the SM Group provides greater access and allows MSMEs to reach new markets and thrive,” said Frederic C. DyBuncio, President and Chief Executive Officer of SM Investments and concurrently President and CEO of 2GO.

As of now, Valdez and CAPE use 2GO to transport their parcels to other members including Zamboanga, Bicol, Surigao del Sur, North and South Cotabato, Laguna, and Bulacan, further sharing “With the help of 2GO, we aim to facilitate seamless and efficient transportation and delivery solutions for our businesses, ensuring that our products reach our customers swiftly and safely.”

According to Valdez’, CAPE’s goal of promoting local products across the country, and even beyond, lies in “focused efforts to expand our market reach as we aspire to strengthen our presence in international markets, establishing our brand as synonymous with premium local products.” With the right partners and supportive collaborators, they might just achieve it.

2GO Getters Comunity

Created to empower small businesses, 2GO Getters is a dynamic initiative dedicated to providing MSMEs with the tools they need to excel in a competitive market, offering a series of growth-focused workshops, online promotional campaigns, and networking opportunities.

With 2GO’s proven efficiency in moving products, their 17 ports of call covering major hubs in the country, and their retail footprint as convenient pickup and drop off locations, they can definitely be a reliable MSME partner.
