SM Supermalls was recently honored by The Walt Disney Company Philippines with an Excellence in Mall Activation award for its remarkable work in amplifying Disney’s campaigns with effective on ground activations in SM Mall of Asia, SM City North EDSA, and various SM malls in South Luzon as a retail partner.

SM City North EDSA’s huge Spider-Man-inspired city helped boost Disney’s “The Spider-Man World Webs” campaign, drawing in thousands of fans and strengthening the campaign’s social media presence. This also triggered a second run of the Spider-Man mall activation in SM Supermalls in the Bicol region (Legazpi, Sorsogon, Daet, and Naga).

As a committed retail partner of Disney, SM Supermalls also became instrumental in the celebration of Donald Duck’s 90th anniversary. SM Mall of Asia, SM City Sta. Rosa, SM City Dasmarinas, SM City Molino, SM City Batangas, SM City Bacoor, SM City Sto. Tomas, SM City Trece Martires, and SM City Lucena made the milestone unforgettable with themed installations, photo spots, and various activities that paid tribute to one of Disney’s iconic characters.
