VIA GRAPHIC PLUS — SM Foundation continues to expand access to essential healthcare, serving 7,282 patients through a series of medical missions conducted this March across multiple underserved communities.
In collaboration with partners including Aboitiz Renewables, BDO Network Bank, MOWEL Fund, Watsons Philippines, National University, and SM Supermalls, the initiative delivered free consultations, medicines, and basic healthcare services to communities in Victoria, Oriental Mindoro, Bulalacao, Oriental Mindoro, Bay, Laguna, Novaliches, Quezon City, Odiongan, Romblon, Looc, Romblon, Quezon City, Bauan, Batangas, San Jose, Batangas, and Laurel, Batangas.
The March missions form part of SM Foundation’s long-standing health and wellness program, which focuses on bringing preventive care and medical support closer to communities with limited access to healthcare facilities.
To date, SM Foundation has served nearly 1.4 million patients nationwide through its medical missions, reflecting its sustained commitment to improving health outcomes and strengthening community well-being.
“Access to healthcare remains a fundamental need. Through strong partnerships and a shared purpose, we are able to reach more communities and provide timely medical assistance to those who need it most,” said Connie Angeles, Executive Director for Health and Medical Programs of SM Foundation.
Beyond medical consultations, the program also promotes health awareness, encouraging early detection and proactive care among beneficiaries.
