Accomplished French multi-instrumentalist, singer and producer FKJ returns with his new single “Soulmates” alongside the announcement of his forthcoming third studio album, ‘Tyber’, due for release this September.
Warm, immersive and rhythmically fluid, “Soulmates” showcases FKJ’s instinctive approach to composition while offering a natural entry point into the wider world of ‘Tyber’. Rooted in both technical musicianship and emotional immediacy, it captures the balance that defines his work, while carrying a euphoric, midsummer glow anchored by a central guitar motif reminiscent of Carlos Santana. Despite its title, the track extends beyond a conventional love song, unfolding with deeper intent and meaning as FKJ explains.
“Soulmates” arrives the first glimpse into ‘Tyber’ — FKJ’s most expansive and uninhibited project to date, capturing a period of personal and creative transformation following his acclaimed album, ‘V I N C E N T’. Written and recorded across London, Los Angeles, Paris, Brazil, the Philippines and Mexico, the album reflects years of movement, solitude, collaboration and renewal, with each location subtly shaping its sonic identity.
