VIA GRAPHIC PLUS | MANILA, PHILIPPINES (September 18, 2026) — Jovy Ebuen Gill, the CEO and Founder of Altilium Green Energy, made strides as the first Filipina to be inducted as an incoming board member of the Future Energy Storage & System Integration Alliance (FESSIA), a non-profit alliance advancing battery energy storage systems (BESS), grid flexibility, and system integration across Asia.
Ebuen Gill’s membership in FESSIA was established last July 1, 2026, and marks a meaningful milestone for Filipinos, reflecting a growing leadership role in Southeast Asia’s transition to fully integrated clean energy. As a new board member, Ebuen Gill is not only welcomed as another leader of a technological vendor, but as a regional partner and advisor. This positions Ebuen Gill and Altilium to play a bigger role in the deployment and operationalization of BESS projects, working alongside FESSIA to provide efficient and practical frameworks to advance green energy in consideration of real-world conditions across the region.

FESSIA engages closely with government agencies such as the Department of Energy (DOE), the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC), industry associations, and other key stakeholders to advocate for the policies and market mechanisms that support commercially viable BESS
projects. Through its new membership in the alliance, Altilium will be able to roll out BESS projects with strong support and guidance from local stakeholders.
Altilium Green Energy is a Philippine-based company headquartered in Taguig City, with an assembly facility at Subic Bay Freeport Zone, considerably one of the very few BESS companies owned in Southeast Asia with a dedicated in-country assembly hub. Altilium has also been recognized as a UNDP SDG Venture Scaler alumnus and a Villgro Philippines accelerator graduate, establishing a credible foundation for engaging policymakers and industry leaders regionally.

Altilium’s fully solar and BESS energy-powered Subic Bay assembly plant is also being targeted for operational readiness later this 2026. Its launch will further strengthen Altilium’s contribution to FESSIA’s evolving policy and standards work — grounding framework development in active, real-world deployment across the region.
