Following its successful premiere in Spain on September 12, 2025, JUST JAVIER has become one of the biggest documentary surprises in recent Spanish cinema. The film drew more than 23,000 moviegoers during its run and continued screening in cinemas for more than a month after its release. Following its international rollout across nearly ten Spanish-speaking countries, the documentary now makes its Philippine debut.
Directed by Josepmaria Anglès and produced by Adauge, JUST JAVIER tells the extraordinary true story of Javier Sartorius Milans del Bosch, a charismatic young man from one of Spain’s aristocratic families who gave up a promising future in sports, business, and privilege to embrace a life of missionary work, contemplation, and faith.
