BRIEF ANGEL

Share

You are one
To slip through the nights
Like a gauze.

You come to me
Thinly wrapping
Around my body.

You are here
Yet not here.

I rise
With every drawing of breath
Like beer froth

To your mouth.

Then passing through me
You leave
Shining.
Like rainfall
Against the lamplight.
