DOST in awe of Scholars’ volunteerism amid COVID-19

When the country imposed the nationwide community quarantine amid the spread of the new Coronavirus disease (COVID-19), worry and uncertainty clouded the minds of many, especially the poor who are most unprepared to meet the sudden restrictions in movement and economic activity. Despite this, scholars of the Department of Science and Technology-Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) were among the first to organize themselves to do volunteer work in their localities.
